We have an amazing new opportunity to give much needed food to the children that we normally help. They have been tremendously affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
*Sadly, in Colombia no school = no school lunches.*

We have a contact at a grocery store & supply chain who has offered to donate prepared food bags for $5 each, which is AT COST. UPDATE 5/4/20: switched to much larger food bags, $10 each STILL AT COST. Scroll down for details.

We are temporarily shifting all our fundraising to buy these prepared food bags to give away to people who have no food at all.

The situation is so dire we are already rolling out food distributions this week, and will continue doing so as we receive new funds.

Additionally, we helped coordinate the distribution of more than 17,000 lbs (8,500 kg) of chicken to families (20 foundations total receive this donation)!

Thank you to ALL our donors and volunteers who have helped us give new shoes to the poor all around the world. We want you to know that while the COVID-19 outbreak has halted all shoe distributions (understandably!), it’s only temporary and we plan to resume once public health is in order.

Your prayers and donations continue to make such a difference to every single child!

If you are able, please support our COVID-19 Special Relief Fund via the following ways:

  • Facebook Fundraiser is preferred as they do not charge fees!

    • Zelle is a great, secure option; it’s very easy to set up and many banks offer it without fees.

    • Mailing a check might be slow but it’s a solid option!

    • You can always donate on our website via PayPal (note: we do pay 3% processing fee).

    UPDATE 5/4/20

This photo below shows what’s inside larger food bags we recently switched to for $10. After hearing feedback from our local reps and the grocery supplier, we realized the larger bags are a more effective use of funds. With how many families are in dire need, it makes more sense to give a larger bag to last long enough until it’s their family’s turn again.

With your generosity and prayer, together we are truly making an impact! Since we started this crisis relief effort less than 3 weeks ago, we’ve raised enough money for over 550 packs of food, and what’s not distributed yet should be done this week!!

These are just a handful of hundreds of people (or more!) we’ve helped amidst COVID-19. You can’t see everyone’s big smiles behind their masks, but it’s so good to see everyone protecting themselves and others!

This has turned into a hunger crisis and people are in desperate need.

Thank you again, we couldn’t help them without all our faithful and loyal supporters!!

While distributing the food bags, many families have told us how much this means to them during this time.

That really shows us how in unity there is strength!
All donations truly do make a difference.
